音樂劇電影：媽媽咪呀！Mamma Mia!
演唱：Meryl Streep

這首歌的原作與原唱來自於ABBA，故事在說一對瀕臨分手但曖昧情愫未斷的男女糾結過程。根據八卦消息指出，這首歌創作當時，正值作詞者Björn Ulvaeus與主唱Agnetha Fältskog分手離婚階段，因此歌詞的描述與歌曲的氛圍十分貼近真實的男女情事與糾結人心。不過當事人當然是矢口否認的囉！

音樂劇「媽媽咪呀！」巧妙的將多首ABBA膾炙人口的歌曲編輯在一起，變成一個發生在希臘小島，由單親媽媽Donna帶大的妙齡少女Sophie，在婚禮前突發奇想要找出生父牽她進禮堂的輕鬆喜劇。

這首歌出現在Sam追著Donna表達他想牽Sophie進禮堂，而Donna對他的反應與回答。有些不捨，有些認命，有些期待，卻又想努力割捨。第一段的歌詞詮釋的真好，簡單卻很真實：

「過去已成雲煙。當時的我，已出盡手中的牌，而你也是，如今又有什麼好說的呢？我們之間，已再無好牌可擲。」

舞台上的音樂劇讓人有臨場感，並輕易感染故事中輕鬆快樂、偶爾參雜一點感傷的氣氛。但舞台畢竟怎樣都呈現不了真實希臘小島的藍天大海，而電影版，就補強了這點缺憾！

梅莉史翠普的唱腔音質也許比不上ABBA原唱或其他優秀的音樂劇演員，不過勇於挑戰現場收音並有如此表現，我覺得已經超強。更重要的是，演出背景搭配上希臘小島迷人的天空、大海、夕陽、蜿蜒而上的石階路、遠方迷濛的小島，畫面讓人心動，故事也讓人「心動」：對美景驚嘆的心動與對男女情事欷噓的心動。這一段，讓觀眾的整顆心，同時處在矛盾的遼闊與糾結中。
